The IESO's most recent outlook for the 18 months to February 2015 projects adequate generation and transmission capability to meet consumer demands. The outlook period also includes the final step in the coal shutdown with about 3,000 MW of supply being taken out of service. By the end of the outlook period, 7,400 MW of wind and solar power are expected to be connected.
