IESO Issues January 2016 to June 2017 Outlook

In its latest outlook for the reliability of the Ontario electricity system, the IESO indicates that over the period January 2016 to June 2017 approximately 1,850 MW of new supply will be added to the transmission grid: 1,300 MW of wind, 300 MW of gas and 240 MW of solar generation.

New Winter Electricity Prices for November 1

The OEB has set new time-of-use electricity commodity prices effective November 1. All prices increase with off-peak prices increasing by 0.3 cents/kWh, mid-peak by 0.6 cents and on-peak by 1.4 cents.

IESO Issues Outlook for July 2015 to December 2016

NEB Approves New TransCanada Tolls for July 1, 2015

The NEB approved new Mainline tolls for TransCanada effective July 1, 2015. The tolls will be in effect until the end of 2017.
